Caliray Come Hell or High Water Mascara Review

Caliray Come Hell or High Water Mascara Review

A few of my favorite youtubers raved about Caliray Come Hell or High Water Mascara ($24) , so of course I had to try it.  I tend to like drugstore mascara over high-end mascara products.

Drugstore brands are always coming out with new wands and formulas, so to me they dominate the mascara market.

Plus, mascara expires in 6 months (most formulas) so I don’t like the ideas of spending $20+ on it.

The Caliray mascara wand is typical of products that claim to give lashes a lot of volume and definition.  It’s easy to apply (not too thick or chunky), and coats the lashes well in 1-2 coats.

TLDR (Too Long Didn’t Read) on the Caliray Come Hell or High Water Mascara:

  • The mascara doesn’t do much for lifting or volumizing
  • It’s a decent, basic mascara that defines the lashes, but it’s nothing special.

Is the CaliRay mascara waterproof?

CaliRay describes the Come Hell or High Water Mascara ($24) as “water resistant”, this means that the mascara wont rub off if your lashes get slightly wet. However, the mascara is not fully water-proof.

Is the Caliray Come Hell or High Water Mascara worth it?

Caliray describes the Come Hell or High Water Mascara as a “volumizing tubing mascara” with fibers that give “separation and maximum coverage”.

The mascara does a good job at separating my lashes for some definition, but it’s not very volumizing for my lashes.

This formula is ok, but gives my lashes the same look as a basic drugstore mascara.

Caliray Come Hell or High Water Mascara Review Rating: OK
