I remember this product being advertised differently in the past, and I’ve used a sample of it years ago but I didn’t like it very much. At the time, I felt the formula was a little sticky and smelled almost medicinal.
However, I recently received a sample of this serum, and now I love it.
The serum blends seamlessly into my morning skincare routine and a little product goes a long way. However I’m still not a fan of the scent. Luckily, the scent doesn’t last and I can’t smell it once my skincare routine is done.
I’m not sure if the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Dark Spot Serum ($82) is responsible for lightning my dark spots, because I already use other niacinamide and vitamin C products that target the same issue.
TLDR (Too Long Didn’t Read):
- Love this serum; it hydrates my skin yet doesn’t look greasy.
- It’s expensive, and there are less expensive but effective niacinamide and vitamin c products on the market.
- I will happily use samples of this product any time I get a chance.
Is the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Dark Spot Serum worth it?
I have other effective, and less expensive products in my collection, like the The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum that retails for $6. The Vinoperfect Radiance Serum is $82 (full size) and I can’t justify spending that amount of money on this product.
I do love the hydrated, radiant but not oily finish but I won’t be buying a full sized version.
However, whenever there is a sample (or maybe even a travel sized version) available, I will jump at the chance to use this serum again.
