I’m shocked at how “glass skin” this moisturizer is without being greasy.
The Glow Recipe Plum Plum Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer is a highly moisturizing glass skin effect moisturizer that has a thin, almost jelly like consistency.
As an oily combination skin beauty, I can’t believe how much I like this product!

- Gives that glass skin effect
- Hydrating but not heavy feeling
- Doesn’t look greasy by the end of the day

So I got this as a sample, probably from Ulta Beauty as a free gift with purchase, but somehow I ended up having a few of these moisturizers.
I was immediately scared of trying this product because I’m a combination/oily skinned girl.
I tend to stay away from products that are advertised as giving “glass skin” or say ultra moisturizing or max hydration.
BUT, I’m super surprised by this product.
It’s thin and lightweight, and immediately gives a beautiful sheen to the skin.
It’s definitely a glass skin type of effect.
But once it dried down a little bit more, it levels out to just a visibly hydrated skin look.
There is one downside though.
I never see any pumping effects from the “Plum Plump” moisturizer.
Is the Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Cream Moisturizer worth it?
Maybe.
For those who have oily skin, I still would say stay away from the Plum Plump moisturizer. Its lightweight but still visibly hydrating all day long.
If you have normal skin or combination/dry skin, I think you would like this product as an extra hydrating moisturizer.
However, the glass skin effect doesn’t last all day (just the visibly moisturized part stays), and I still don’t see the plump…but it’s a really nice moisturizer!
Because it doesn’t exactly do what it describes, I have to say this is a Good product and not Great and its only Maybe worth it.
