This product is a Holy Grail for me and I continue to buy it over and over again.
I use the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen as my SPF coverage, and I also use it as a makeup primer, regularly.
It has a silicone feel that is very reminiscent of the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer.
Although, the Supergoop Sunscreen shows more of a glow at the end of the day, which I don’t mind.
Now that we’ve turned the page on the 2016 Beauty Guru matte face era, I am enjoying natural to slightly glowy products more.
The Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen is more of a natural finish on application, but shows more of a soft glow after a full day of wear.
For me, that’s at least 8 hours and I have combination skin so those results are to be expected.
TL:DR (Too Long Didn’t Read) on the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen:
- It has an invisible finish with no white cast
- It lasts all day
- Reapplies well – with or without makeup on
- Works for all skin types
Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Product Review:
I love the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen.
After all of these years, it’s still one of my favorite products.
I wear makeup almost daily, and I need something that is going to give me the SPF coverage but not make me oily and greasy.
By the end of the day, my skin does show a little bit of glow but it’s not shiny or heavy feeling.
So it’s not like a matte primer type of formula, but I do think all skin types can use it.
Supergoop does sell a matte version of this product, but that version gets a lot of flak online.
Beauties say it’s not as invisible and does have a little bit of a white cast. So I haven’t tried that.
But this one works so well, I’ve purchased it at least 5x full size and 2x travel size. That says a lot!
Is the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen worth it?
Yes, absolutely. I think there’s a reason why many brands have tried to dupe this product.
It’s such a unique formula and cannot really be replicated in the way that it functions.
Although I love other sunscreen formulas, this one is always in my collection because it works. Easy application, enough SPF coverage, re-appliable (is that a word?), and acts as a makeup primer. Love it!
