ELF Skin Suntouchable Invisible Sunscreen SPF 35 Review

ELF Skin Suntouchable Invisible Sunscreen SPF 35 Review

I had high hopes for this product, but it’s not a dupe for the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen…respectfully.

I was excited for the ELF Skin Invisible Sunscreen products, and I think it was really hyped on social media because it’s trying to dupe the very popular (and one of my Holy Grail products) Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen.

But this is not the same.

It almost is the same, but there’s 1 key difference.

TL:DR (Too Long Didn’t Read) on the ELF Skin Suntouchable Invisible Sunscreen:

  • It has an invisible finish with silicone-like texture
  • Works well as a makeup primer
  • It is visibly more glowy than the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen

ELF Skin Suntouchable Invisible Sunscreen Product Review:

The ELF Skin Suntouchable Invisible Sunscreen is way more glowy than I expected.

I received it as a free gift for purchase, and then I decided to just go ahead and buy a full size version so I could test it out longer against my beloved Supergroup Unseen Sunscreen.

I think it’s similar to the Supergoop but not as spot on as I thought.

It has an invisible finish, silicone type texture, and feels smooth on the skin.

But you can visibly tell that the ELF Skin version has a glow to it, even though it’s not their WOW Glow Invisible Sunscreen.

ELF Skin Suntouchable Invisible Sunscreen SPF 35 - Product Close Up

Throughout the day my skin gets worse and worse with the glow.

If I have makeup on underneath, I visibly see a glow on application.  Within a few hours the glow gets worse, and by mid-day I look and feel oily.

That’s kinda were I stopped using it, after a week I was done with having a greasy face by noon.

I’m surprised that I don’t really like this one as much.

It’s not a bad product, but it’s just not as good as the Supergoop when it comes to a natural finish that wears well throughout the day.

ELF Skin Suntouchable Invisible Sunscreen SPF 35 Review - Swatch

Is the ELF Skin Suntouchable Invisible Sunscreen worth it?

Yes, if you are looking for a sunscreen that has the invisible finish, but you don’t mind a glow to your skin or a sheen under your makeup.  I don’t think it will work as well for oily and some combination skin beauties.
