I’ve purchased the Hero Cosmetics Niacinamide Lightening Wand a few times already. I consider it a must have product for lightening dark spots, which are common for me after a breakout. Its effective!
I use it mostly at night before my other serums and I see results (ie. Lightening of my dark spots) after about a week of use. After a few more weeks (3 weeks or so) the spot is almost completely gone.
I love the easy squeeze and roll applicator that feels cool on the skin.
TLDR (Too Long Didn’t Read) on the Hero Cosmetics Niacinamide Lightening Wand:
- A must have product for lightening post acne dark spots
- Easy to apply and a little goes a long way
- Not as good for general hyperpigmentation
There’s no stinging feeling, so I think it would work well for all skin types (including sensitive skin) too! The full size version lasts me about 6 months, and even the travel size will last you at least a month with regular use.
A little goes a long way, but it’s possible that the product lasts longer for me because I get only one post acne mark every month (or so).
Does the Hero Lightning Wand Work?
The Hero Cosmetics Niacinamide Lightening Wand absolutely works! The earlier I use the product, the faster the results.
I used this product a few days after a break out dried up and the Lightening Wand lightened the spot so much that I can’t even see that spot anymore!
The only downside is, if I wait a week or more to start using this product, then it takes a about a month (or more) for the spot to be gone. But, that’s user error (me).
On another note, I wish the Niacinamide Lightening Wand would lighten the hyperpigmentation around my mouth. Its doesn’t lighten that area at all (darn it) but I still love and continue to re-buy the Lightening Wand.
