I just knew that this product was overhyped, but man, is it good.
I’ve seen the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Firming Moisturizer reviewed and loved by so many skin care lovers and beauty lovers that I just thought it was really overhyped.
The ingredient list and advertisement for it has never really caught my eye.
So I was never excited to try it.
But then I heard that the ELF Holy Hydration Moisturizer is supposed to be a Drunk Elephant dupe.
Since I have both products (in sample sizes), I figured it was a good time to try them.
Man, it’s really good!
TL:DR (Too Long Didn’t Read) on the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Firming Moisturizer:
- Feels smooth and light on the skin
- Cloud like airbrush finish
- Finish does not change throughout the day/doesn’t get shiny
- Would work well for all skin types
Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Firming Moisturizer Product Review:
I’ve been using this product for quite a while and although I don’t think that I would buy a full size version of it just yet, I have really enjoyed using it.
I will however be excited to see the Protini Moisturizer in “best of kits” or travel size samples.
What gives Drunk Elephant’s Protini Polypeptide Moisturizer the edge over other moisturizers is the smoothness.
Moisturizers can be hydrating, and they could really give a visible glow to the skin, but not a lot of moisturizers, really hit the target on smoothing the skin.
I didn’t expect smooth skin results from a non-whipped texture moisturizer.
The formula is smoothing, hydrating but not oily and it just makes your skin feel good!
I see why beauty lovers have raved about this product for years. I really like it.
Is the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Firming Moisturizer worth it?
Yes. This is a product that I think most beauties would like and find some benefit of because of that smoothing quality, and just the right amount of hydration.
