Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review – All In 1 Pink Cap Version

Garnier Micellar Water All in One Review - Pink Version

I’ve been using Garnier Micellar Waters ($10-$12) for over a decade and continuing to buy it in big sizes, small sizes, travel sizes because it really is an all in one product. It’s a great cleansing water for all skin types because its non-drying and it does remove light makeup.

TL:DR (Too Long Didn’t Read) on the Garnier Micellar Water All-in-1 formula:
  • It’s doesn’t dry out the skin
  • You can use it in a number of ways; in your skin care routine or makeup routine
  • It’s widely available; at most drugstores and online
Garnier Micellar Water (All-in-1 Pink) Review:

I love Garnier Micellar Cleansing Waters.

I use them in so many different ways.  For example, in the morning I use it to lightly cleanse my skin and get any excess oils or excess product off my skin. I also use it to remove light makeup and to fix makeup mistakes.

It’s easily available so you can buy this for about 10 to $12 at most drugstores, on Amazon, Target, and Ulta Beauty.

Also, Garnier offers value sizes and travel sizes of their Micellar Waters.

I always keep a travel size version of these micellar waters because its so versatile and the cap is made to not leak.

That’s a win for travel products!

What is the difference between the pink and blue Garnier micellar water?

The blue version is a waterproof formula and can remove all types of waterproof makeup, whereas the pink version is the original  “all-in-one” formula.

The pink version can remove all makeup, but isn’t as strong when it comes to waterproof makeup like eyeliner, mascara, and long-wearing lip products.

What are the disadvantages of Garnier micellar water?

This micellar water removes light makeup, but if you have a heavier layer of makeup, you will need to work in layers.

You may have to remove one layer of makeup, then continue removing your makeup a 2nd time (or even a 3rd time) to really remove all the makeup.

I would suggest using a different product to remove heavier makeup all at once.

But if you wear light makeup (tinted sunscreen, blush balm, lip gloss, etc.) or you don’t mind working in layers, this is a great product.  Also, because of the non-drying formula, you can remove the makeup in layers without causing your skin to dry out.

Another disadvantage is that you have to use the product with a cotton pad or cloth to remove the makeup.

The micellar water doesn’t work as well using just the product and your hands like makeup removing balms, or other makeup removing products.

Is the Garnier Micellar cleansing water worth it?

Absolutely. It is such a great product, no matter what version you get.

It’s worth it for those who are looking for a drug store product that removes makeup and lightly cleanses the skin.  This is a must have product for me.

I will continue to buy it over and over again for another decade at least!
